Unlike most agencies that react to new Google updates, CrimsonCobalt Digital takes a proactive approach. As we approach 2022, we must recognize Core Web Vitals and Page Experience. Preparing your website for these updates is imperative, as they have already launched for Desktop and Mobile. Optimizing your site for Core Web Vitals requires testing, evaluation, technical programming knowledge, and time.
Preparing and implementing the optimal Page Experience elements is not a simple, instant solution. Unfortunately, less than 15% of websites are validated and pass the Core Web Vitals assessment. However, CrimsonCobalt Digital can assist and alleviate the burden on your development team. For SMBs, we can handle Core Web Vitals independently. If you would like us to assess your website, please don’t hesitate to contact us using the link provided.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Google’s search ranking algorithm’s most recent significant update includes Core Web Vitals, which will substantially impact Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Sites with positive results in Google’s Core Web Vitals will be rewarded.
Google’s Core Web Vitals will assess three factors: Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS). Once released, these factors will be evaluated as part of the overall ranking process. To learn more about Core Web Vitals and Page Experience, please visit our blog for more information.
The Core Web Vitals 2022 update will consider three ranking signals that affect rankings:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) measures the time it takes for a webpage to load its most significant content element.
- FID (First Input Delay) measures the time it takes for a webpage to respond to the first user interaction, such as a click or tap.
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures a web page’s visual stability.
